The Brewer is responsible for brewing all Weathered Souls Brewing core beers and must have a strong commitment to quality while being a passionate steward for Weathered Souls Brewing co. We offer a fun and rewarding work environment, paid time off, as well as discounts on food/beer/merchandise.

Oversee cellar work, cleaning and sanitation work performed by others.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Principles and processes for providing excellent customer service

• Business math and its application to brewing techniques

• Raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods

• Effectively managing one’s own time

• Excellent communication skills

• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities

• Listen and understand information and ideas as presented

• Communicate thoroughly with production staff

• Provide guidance and direction to other staff, including setting standards and monitoring performance

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail

• Work directly with production staff

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Brewer in a production brewery

• Understanding of contemporary brewing methods and measurement systems

• Working knowledge of brewery quality systems

• Current Forklift certification (Weathered Souls can provide)

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Have a flexible schedule based on production needs
